On the basis of its firm belief in the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter, Nepal has actively participated in UN peacekeeping operations in different parts of the world and will remain committed to serve for global peace and security. It is sad to note that the following 68 Nepalese Peacekeepers have laid down their lives in their noble efforts to maintain peace in the world.
