The Birendra Peace Operation Training Center conducted an orientation and interaction program on “Actors and Approaches in Conflict Resolution” from 19 to 20 November 2021 for PHD students of the Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, Department of Conflict Peace and Development Studies. The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science Prof Dr. Kushum Shakya and the Commandant of the BPOTC Col Dil Bikram Subba addressed the participants at the opening session of the program.Various issues related to peace, conflict and development were discussed during the program within the framework of United Nations peacekeeping operations. Lt Gen Balanand Sharma (Retd), Maj Gen BigyanDev Pandey, Col Dil Bikram Subba and Lt Col Basant Bahadur Gautam conducted discussion sessions during the program.
