UNMO/SO ORIENTATION TRAINING COMMENCED
The UNMO/UNSO Orientation course commenced implementing Covid-19 Protocol and applying all measures at Birendra Peace Operations Training Centre (BPOTC) on 18th January 2022, including 11 UNMO/SO (9 Officers, 1 JCO & 1 NCO) from different units of Nepali Army. To mitigate the wave of Covid-19, OMICRON Variant the Opening Ceremony has been conducted virtually. During Ceremony the opening remarks was given by Col. Dil Bikram Subba, the commandant of BPOTC. In his opening remark, he highlighted the role and responsibilities that has to be carried out by Military Observers and Staff Officers in UN Peace keeping Missions. The Course will be conducted till 27th January 2022. The Opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Commandant and faculty members of BPOTC. This course is being conducted in BPOTC focusing the prior deployment of UNMO/UNSO in their respective peacekeeping mission area.
