PRE-DEPLOYMENT TRAINING IN CONCLUDED

The Pre Deployment Training (PDT) of Jabarjung Bn 4th The United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Centre Republic Africa (MINUSCA,CAR), Military Police Unit 7th (Reinforced), (MINUSCA,CAR) and Force HeadquarterSupport Unit 1st, United Nations Interim Security Force in Abyei, (UNISFA, Abyei) officially concluded on 28 January 2022 at Birendra Peace Operations Training Centre (BPOTC).

Colonel Dil Bikram Subba, the Commandant of BPOTCgraced the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest. The course that started on November 17th 2021 was attended by three PDT Unit and its all ranks at BPOTC, Panchkhal.

Addressing the PDT Units and all ranks, the Commandant Colonel Subba congratulated all the trainee for the successful completion of the course and he emphasized on the contribution of Nepali Army Peacekeepers in different UN missions in maintaining international peace and security. He also focused on maintaining discipline, proper use of knowledge and skills acquired during the Pre Deployment Training for effectively carrying out the mandated tasks in the mission area. He also expressed his confidence that the training would enable the all ranks of PDT Units to accomplish the given tasks.

PDT training is a compulsory for all ranks of PDT Units prior to deployment to the specific UN mission area.
