CLOSING CEREMONY OF UNLOG COURSE
On 1 April 2022, The Birendra Peace Operations Training Centre (BPOTC) Commandant Col. Dil Bikram Subba formally address the closing ceremony of United Nations Logistics Officers’ Course (UNLOG) which was commenced from 21 March - 1 April 2022 with 13 male and 7 female officer participants from Nepali Army (NA). This course was conducted collaboratively by the subject matter experts from Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI) and NA. The course was designed to provide knowledge on the various areas of logistics that are crucial during UN peacekeeping missions. During the program GOPI training team leader Mrs. Tracey Martineau highlighted the importance of UNLOG training framework for assisting staff officers during future logistic planning. Furthermore, the commandants in his closing remarks underlined the significance of logistics throughout the UN mission environment and he also commends the course instructors and participants for their enthusiastic and praise worthy performance.
