The Commandant of Birendra Peace Operations Col Dil Bikram Subba formally closed the S.N 4 Integrated Pre-Deployment Training Course (IPDT) on 22 May 2022.This course was designed to develop a shared understanding, enhance cooperation among the government agencies on peace operation trainings and to enhance performance of Nepali peacekeepers in UN peace operations.>/p>

In his closing remarks, the Commandant highlighted on Nepal's six-decade long contribution on UN peacekeeping which has played a significant role to project Nepal's image and identity in the world. He also highlighted on the need of joint and collaborative effort of all the government and non government agencies of Nepal in the issues related to Peace Operations. He also focused on the importance of developing a shared understanding and sharing of knowledge, experience, expertise and best practices amongst the stakeholders.

Total 25 participants including 10 from Nepali Army, two from Ministry of Defense, two from Ministry of Home Affairs, one from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and 5 each from Nepal Police and Armed Police Force Nepal successfully completed the course.
