On 17 August 2022, Commandant Col. Sudhir Pratap Singh formally graced the closing ceremony of the S. No. 11 French language course. The course was conducted from 17 August to 19 October, involving 30 participants from different units undergoing the Pre-Deployment Training (PDT) that are going to be deployed in various UN Peace Operations Mission soon. During the Closing remarks, the commandant highlighted the importance of the French Language for the peacekeepers while operating in different Francophone countries for their operation and administrative activities. Birendra Peace Operation Training Centre has been conducting this course since 2017, focusing on developing the French communication skills of the peacekeeper prior to their deployment in the Francophone mission area. The course was conducted in coordination with the Alliance Francoise institute of Kathmandu.
