An Indian Army delegation team led by Lt Gen JS Sandhu; Chief of Staff of the ARMY TRAINING COMMAND (ARTRAC) visited Birendra Peace Operations Training Centre (BPOTC) on 21st Dec 2022. Commandant BPOTC welcomed the visiting team and briefed the Nepali Army's participation in UN peacekeeping missions and the pivotal role of BPOTC in preparing Nepalese peacekeepers for their deployment in various UN field missions. Similarly, the training officer briefed about the different training activities that the centre runs annually. The delegation team then visited the training area and observed various training activities. The visiting team praised the effort of BPOTC for its crucial role in preparing competent peacekeepers.
