On  21st Aug 2019 director of DPKO of Nepali Army Brigadier General Hira Lal Joshi visited Birendra Peace Operations Training Centre on the occasion of inauguration ceremony of  Shivadal  battalion UNIFIL  and closing ceremony of United Nations Staff Officer's Course (UNSOC) organized Jointly by Nepali Army and Global Peace Operations initiative (GPOI). Twenty national students along with three international students from Indonesia and Mongolia and two officers each from Nepal Police and Armed police Force successfully completed their course.
