On  9th Sept 2019, Col Nabin Silwal Commandant Birendra Peace Operations Training Centre inaugurated the United Nations Contingent Commanders’ Course organized jointly by Nepali Army and Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI). 20 National students along with four international students (Indonesia-2 and Mongolia-2) are attending the course.

Likewise, four Subject Matter Expert (SME) including Senior Mentor Maj General (Retd) Patrick Cammaert from Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI) are here at the centre to conduct the course.  The course will be conducted till 20 Sept 2019.
