The Pre-Deployment Training (PDT) of Shree Naya shreenath Battalion, UNMISS -5 officially started on 1 June 2018 at Birendra Peace Operation Training Center (BPOTC). The Battalion of 850 troops is scheduled to deploy in United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) at the end of September 2018.
