On 13 Dec 2019, The director of Peace Keeping Operations, Nepali Army Brigadier General Hira Lal Joshi formally declared the completion of United Nations Military Observer Course was conducted from 01 -13 Dec 2019 at Birendra Peace Operations Training Centre. There were altogether 21 participating students officers in the course out of which four were foreign students Bangladesh-1, Malaysia-1, Pakistan-1 and Sri-Lanka. The course was designed to prepare efficient peacekeepers who will deply as Military Observer in future. The course included Lectures with 3 days field exercises with scenarios relevant in the mission area. The Director of Peacekeeping operation Brigadier General Hira Lal Joshi addressed the participants and highlighted on the importance of this course.
