On 26th Jan 2020, the commandant of BPOTC Col Manoj Baidawar officially inaugurated the opening ceremony of United Nations Staff Officers Course (UNSOC) conducted here at Birendra Peace Operations Training Centre (BPOTC), Kavre. The course is funded by Nepali Army and this course has been recognized by United Nations also. This course will be conducted from 26 Jan - 07 Feb 2020. There are altogether 26 Student officers including two officers from Nepal Police, two from Armed Police Force and four foreign participants one each from Bangladesh, Malaysia, Pakistan and India.
