His Excellency Mr. Jean-Pierre Lacroix, Under-Secretary-General (USG) for Peacekeeping Operations United Nations Headquarters (UNHQ),accompanied by Military Advisor Lieutenant General Carlos Humberto Loitey and Police Adviser Mr. Luis Carrilho, visited BPOTC on 27 June 2018. The Commandant of BPOTC, Col Nabin Silwal briefed the delegation team about various peacekeeping training activities of the center. His Excellency inspected the undergoing pre-deployment training (PDT) of various units deploying in different missions in near future and interacted with the peacekeepers. He then observed a demonstration on vehicle patrol and anti- ambush drill presented by RanaBhim Battalion, which is scheduled to deploy in MONUSCO mission Congo on July 2018.

In an appreciation and as a memory of his visit to BPOTC, the Commandant presented a token of remembrance to His Excellency.
